Happy Thanksgivukkah

You know, dogs aren’t known for being thankful creatures, but I am going to buck that trend. I have a lot to be thankful for, and want although I have shared this list in the past, I have edited it for the new year. I am thankful:

  • That the Servants feed me, perhaps more than they should, and included in that is good, wholesome food and delicious treats. Lots of treats.
  • For the opportunity to go out with the Servants all the time. (I loooove going out to restaurants!)
  • For all of the long walks I get. I get to go outside and walk and play a lot. More than some of my friends. (I hope they are not reading this and take it as gloating … well, maybe I’m gloating a little…)
  • That the Servants have figured out it is futile to try to resist my cuteness in the middle of the night. I now just hop up into their bed round 3AM to cuddle. We all get to sleep later that way. Well, I get to sleep later, and the Servants get a lot less space, but I guess they are asleep, too. (I can’t always tell, as I am too busy snoring and kicking them in the ribs.)
  • For all my great human friends, especially the ones that let me come over and stay with them when the Servants have to go out of town. Sometime it is just for the day when the Servants are working hard, but either way, I always have a good time.
  • For lizards to chase, squirrels to hunt and a comfy couch to lay down on when I have exhausted myself.
  • For my big toy basket. The Servants and my human friends always get me great toys.
  • I am most thankful for Ana, who saved my life and dropped me right into the lap of luxury with the Servants. She really found me a good staff. I’m going to keep them a while.

Here’s hoping someone sneaks me a few turkey scraps! Happy thanksgiving! Gobble, Gobble, Woof, Woof.
